Mark Millicent is a writer and illustrator based in the USA, where he works in the Los Angeles advertising and movie world.
Originally from the Midlands in the UK, he studied art at Stoke in the 1980’s before moving to London for a decade, honing his trade as a commercial artist.
After London it was a move to California for a couple more decades, eventually swapping city life for a quieter existence. Mark now lives on the edge of a scenic historical landmark lake in the Santa Monica Mountains with his wife Luisa and his family, along with a cat and a peacock.
Mark works regularly with Marvel, Disney and Universal studios and has produced work for THE WALKING DEAD, THE HULK, SESAME STREET and many other high profile movies, TV shows and advertising campaigns.
He is currently involved with various creative projects both in the UK and the US. His first novel ‘FIZZY DAYS AND PLASTIC MONKEYS - FROM CREWE TO MALIBU' is scheduled for publication in the Spring and he is illustrating Dale Neal's 'MY GRANDAD IS AN ALIEN' for release in 2022.
